Panasonic Develops New App for Wireless Panasonic Projectors
Presenters in a variety of environments, from educational institutions to corporate settings, always look for innovative technology tools to help them create an interactive information-sharing experience and set the stage for lively and productive discussions.
With this in mind, Panasonic Solutions Company introduced the ‘Panasonic Wireless Projector for iOS’, an application designed to simplify image projection and image movement using wireless projectors. Now, speakers can project PDFs or JPEG images, downloaded onto an iPhone®, iPad® or iPod® touch, to any Panasonic wireless compatible projector using a Wi-Fi Network or wireless LAN.
The ‘Panasonic Wireless Projector for iOS’ application lets presenters enlarge or minimize the projected image as well as route the screen using the “pinch” operation. Additionally, it is easy to change projected images, as people can switch pictures using the flick or swipe functions available on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
The application is compatible with the PT-DZ570 Series projectors, PT-FW430 Series projectors, PT-FW300NTU, PT-F300NTU and PT-LB90NTU projectors, which are available for purchase through authorized Panasonic resellers.
The ‘Panasonic Wireless Projector for iOS’ is free and is now available for download at the iTunes App Store.
To learn more about Panasonic’s family of projectors, which are ideal for a number of environments, including education, healthcare and corporate settings, please visit the global Panasonic projectors website.

Hello,
Are there plans to develop an app for the Android tablets? We currently use Panasonic PT-FW430E.
Regards,
Jill Seeman
Hi Jill,
Thanks for visiting our site. Unfortunately there is no Android app available yet.
I would like to second Jill’s request. An Android app would be very, very interesting. We are about to buy several fixed and mobile projectors. Though iOS apps are a step in the right direction, Android would make the choice a no-brainer.
Hope you will work on such an app soon.
Best regards
André
Agree with the others; we are in the process of replacing 20 + projectors for our conference room but waiting for some company to develop and Andriod app. Would like to stay with Panasonic- so hopefully one comes soon
hello….
where is the android app?
Hi David,
There are no updates regarding an application for Android at this time. We’ll post an update here should that change.
Thanks,
Projectors Team
Hi,
The IOS app is OK but untill we can project Powerpoint type presentations (Keynote) or what ever is currently on the ipad screen then our people will never use it. limiting the app to pdf and jpeg makes it a lost opportunity. Sorry….

are there any plans to develop wireless app for the PT-DW6300 series projectors. we will be installing 6 in a new hotel in June 2012.
Cliff / Telnet Solutions
Hi Cliff,
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately the PT-DW6300 Series projector is not wirelessly enabled; therefore, it is not compatible with the Panasonic Wireless Application for iOS. Read more about the application and find a list of compatible projectors online at http://panasonic.net/avc/projector/ios/

What about the new PT AE7000U? I’d like to have that capability since I got iPad and ordering the projector. Just release a wireless add-on to enable this welcome feature. Bring it on, Panasonic! C’mon!!!
can you project and operate Keynote with this app from an iPad?
I concure with the Android league, especially when Panasonic has the NEW ANDROID-POWERED PANASONIC TOUGHPADS. Will be awaiting with great anticipation.
My local retirement branch of the NHSRF charity has recently acquired a PT -lb50ntea. The loading instructions for wireless are for windows 2000 pprofessional, XP Home and professional. I need to install on a widows 7 machine. Any thoughts on how I can do this?
Hi Mik,

Are there plans to develop an app for the Android phones(as Samsung GT-I9100)? We currently use Panasonic PT-F300NTE.
Can you get the same functionality using the wired LAN port on the PTFW430U? We also want to use the Windows Networked Projector function. Will this model support that on the wired port or with the optional wireless module?
If you need full iOS support just add an Apple TV connected to the projector via the HDMI input. Then you have full AirPlay capability and can view on screen anything that’s on your iPad or iPhone. I think most Apple laptops support AirPlay as well but I’m not certain. Hopefully Panasonic will add native AirPlay support in the future.
For Windows 7 PC’s/laptops they should be able to use the built in Network Projector function for wireless display of PowerPoint but I’m waiting for confirmation on my last post before we buy.
How long does it take to get an answer? The question doesn’t seem that difficult. Is there someone I can call? I have a small boardroom project to complete and I’d like to consider the PTFW430U but not until I know it meets our needs.

Does this app work on the Pt-f100ntu?
It has wireless built into the unit. If not can we add this to the list?
Hi Brit,
Unfortunately your model of projector is not able to be supported by the iOS app. You can find the list of supported projectors and other specifications here: http://panasonic.net/avc/projector/ios/
I have a specific requirement to project a web page via an iphone (4). I have the wireless projector app for iOS and have had a quick look at the web browser function. Which of the compatible Panasonic projectors best suits my specific requirement? Note the model must be available in Australia….
Thanks,
Swassoc
